丹後ちりめんの技術について知ってもうら機会とします。「精練」とは撚糸した糸を織り上げた後、精練を行うことで撚りが戻り、独特の柄（シボ）を作り出す工程です。
I will take this opportunity to learn about the technology of Tango Chirimen. “Smelting” is the process of creating a unique pattern (texture) by weaving twisted yarn and then refining it to return the twist.
丹後ちりめんを代表する数種類の柄の白生地の精練前、精練後を展示して精練について知ってもらう展示を行います。
日曜、祝日を除く
We will exhibit before and after the refining of white fabric with several types of patterns that represent Tango Chirimen.
