Hand-woven demonstration tour and experience

丹後ちりめん300年の歴史の中で機織りの技術は大きく発展しました。機械化の流れで明治末期から次第に力織機が導入されていきますが、それまでどの機屋でも手機（手織り機）が使われていました。
The technology of weaving has greatly developed during the 300-year history of Tango Chirimen. With the flow of mechanization, power looms were gradually introduced from the end of the Meiji era. Until then, hand looms (hand looms) were used in every machine shop.
現在では織物産地でも珍しくなった手機を使った織物の実演の見学、また参加者の体験をKUSKAの工房で行います。

At the KUSKA workshop, we will observe demonstrations of textiles using hand machines, which are now rare in the textile production area, and participants' experiences.
