20 Years of Practicing Zero Waste: Artist Talk
October 16, 2019 @ 11:30 am - 2:00 pm
Enjoy networking, lunch, and a dynamic, thought-provoking presentation of an artist’s 20-year navigation of practicing zero waste.

In 1998, Heidi Leugers quit a graduate program in art history to investigate “first hand” her most nagging question about art: What does it mean to make/create/produce/trade art (or anything at all) in a world drowning in “stuff”? Heidi will share her discoveries from two decades of making a living at the “intersectionality” of art/design/craft, global markets, waste, and creative expression.
LOWC is an organization intended to bring women of all walks of life together via a “Lunch and Learn” program. Men are welcome to attend! The group meets the third Wednesday of each month from September through May at the Stafford.
