Opening reception for the mesmerizing work of textile artist Sarah Wertzberger and her new exhibition Color Vision.
HOLDING Contemporary presents new work by textile artist Sarah Wertzberger in her exhibition Color Vision, on view beginning October 3rd until November 2nd of 2019. An opening reception will be held October 3rd from 6 to 8pm.
Sarah Wertzberger’s artworks are woven on a digital jacquard loom, using analog and digital processes that combine her painting and hand weaving practices. The new works are mesmerizing objects for contemplation and reflect her ongoing visual investigations of color, shape, and pattern.
Sarah received her MFA from Rhode Island School of Design with an emphasis in textiles. She has exhibited nationally in group exhibitions and design events and was recently featured in articles for Design-Milk and Metropolis Magazine.
