SH/FT An Experiment in Fashion Design

A runway show, benefiting the Right Brain Initiative, a celebration of equitable education, creativity in the classroom, and innovative fashion design.
Come be a voyeur as designers and teams, rookie and seasoned alike, duke it out on the runway for the coveted Best in Show prize.
The catch?
All garments must be constructed from nontraditional materials and found objects, each piece displaying inventive form, style and a creative juxtaposition—shifting the materials from their original form into wearable couture.
This year’s design theme: HOUSE OF THE ABSURD
Come for the fashion, stay for the innovative hor d’oeuvres, tasty libations and surprise entertainment as we rally together in support 11 years of Right Brain facilitating arts education for 32,000 K-8 students annually.
P.S. Extreme ridiculosity in evening wear encouraged, but not required.
A follow up event with SH/FT participating designers will be held on October 15th from 12:30 to 1:30 pm.
